Jicama Appetizer with Chili and Lime
Ingredients
1 (2 lb) Jicama (available at Latin markets) | ||
1 tbs salt | ||
1 tbs chili powder | ||
juice of 2 limes |
Directions:
- Peel jicama and cut into 1/4 to 1/2 inch batons. Place in a bowl.
- Mix the chili powder with the salt, then sprinkle over the jicama evenly. Mixing to combine well
- Place jicama on a platter or on individual plates along with lime wedges.
- To serve, squeeze a little lime juice over the jicama.
