French Vinaigrette


  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • kosher salt and black pepper to taste
  • pinch sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil


  • Combine the lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste.
  • Then add a pinch of sugar along with the mustard.
  • Using a whisk slowly add the oil while whisking constantly.
  • Taste for seasoning.
