Spicy Creole Seasoning

This is a spicy all purpose seasoning that works equally well on beef, pork, lamb, chicken and seafood. It is also great as a rub before smoking or grilling meats.


  • 2 and 1/2 tbs paprika
  • 3 tbs kosher salt
  • 2 tbs garlic powder
  • 1 tbs black pepper
  • 1 tbs onion powder
  • 1 tbs cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbs dried oregano
  • 1 tbs dried thyme
  • Add all ingredients to a bowl and combine well.
  • Store in a glass jar with a tight fitting lid.
  • Use as needed.
  • Makes about 1/2 cup.
  • Recipe may be multiplied.
