Szechuan Peppercorn Seasoned Salt
- 6 tbs kosher salt
- 2 tbs Szechuan peppercorns
This is a wonderfully spicy seasoned salt.
- Place a dry skillet over low heat.
- Add the salt and peppercorns.
- Stir until the salt is lightly browned and the peppercorns begin to smoke.
- Remove from the heat and cool.
- Pour the mixture into a food processor or spice grinder and process at high speed for about 30 seconds.
- Store in a jar with a tight fitting lid.
