Homemade Chorizo Sausage
Ingredients
1 lb coarsely ground pork | ||
2 tsp kosher salt | ||
2 tbs chili powder | ||
1/2 tsp cloves | ||
1/2 tsp cinnamon | ||
1 tbs paprika | ||
1 clove garlic, crushed (more if desired) | ||
1 tsp oregano | ||
2 tbs cider vinegar | ||
2 tbs water |
- Make sure pork is cold, then combine with all of the ingredients and mix well.
- Stuff into casings or form into patties and fry.
- We think it is best in lamb or pork casings.
