Shirred Eggs


  • 4 eggs
  • 3-4 tbs butter, melted
  • kosher salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh grated Parmesan or Romano cheese


  • Add melted butter to the bottom of an oven proof casserole dish.
  • Break in the eggs and top with salt, pepper and some grated cheese.
  • Bake in a preheated 325 degree oven until eggs just begin to set.
  • About 10-15 minutes.
