Steamed Chinese Meatballs
Ingredients
1 lb ground pork | ||
1 tbs soy sauce | ||
1 tbs dry sherry | ||
2 scallions, minced, white and green parts | ||
2 tsp fresh grated ginger | ||
2 cloves garlic, minced | ||
1 egg | ||
1 tsp cornstarch |
- Mix all ingredients together and form small meatballs, about half the size of a golf ball.
- Place the meatballs in a steamer basket over boiling water and steam for about 30 minutes or until cooked through.
- Serve atop raw mustard or mixed greens.
