Vietnamese Hot Sauce


  • 10-15 red Thai chilies, chopped finely
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tbs fresh lime juice
  • 4 tsp kosher salt
  • 4 tbs sugar

This is a super hot, hot sauce that is wonderful for dipping or spreading over cooked meats and vegetables.

  • Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix well.
  • The acid in the vinegar and lime juice will dissolve the salt and sugar.
  • Use sparingly.
