Orange Butter Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 tbs grated orange rind
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • Combine first 12 ingredients in a large mixing bowl and beat at low speed in an electric mixer until blended. Increase speed to high and beat for another 3 minutes.
  • Pour batter into 2 greased and floured loaf pans.
  • Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  • Cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove from the pans and cool completely on the wire racks.
