  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 2 tsp thyme
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp white pepper
  • 2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 4 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
This is a spice mixture that was developed in Louisiana particularity for red fish, however it is also delicious when used with beef, chicken or pork. This recipe may be doubled or tripled.

  • Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix well.
  • Dredge meat, fish or poultry in the seasoning mix, knocking off excess.
  • Cook the meat, fish or poultry in a cast iron pan using high heat for about 2-3 minutes per side or until desired doneness is achieved.
  • Recipe may be doubled or tripled.
