Chesapeake Bay Popcorn


  • 1/4 cup peanut or safflower oil
  • 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
  • 3 tsp old bay seasonin
  • Heat oil and a few popcorn kernels in a large, heavy bottom pot over high heat.
  • When kernels pop add remaining kernels and cover.
  • Cook, shaking pot frequently until popping stops, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Transfer to a bowl and toss with old bay and serve
