Mustard Glazed Ham Steaks


  • 4 boneless ham steaks, 1/2 inch thick
  • 5 tbs brown sugar
  • 1 tbs dry mustard
  • 1 tsp onion salt
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 1 can (8 oz) pineapple slices (optional)
  • Combine the brown sugar, dry mustard, onion salt, soy sauce and lemon juice in a small sauce pan.
  • Mix until smooth.
  • Add the pineapple juice and mix well.
  • Simmer sauce for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Place the ham steaks on the grill three to four inches above medium coals.
  • Cook for 30 minutes, turning the steaks every five minutes and brushing with the sauce.
  • Serve the steaks with the sauce.
  • Garnish with grilled pineapple slices if desired.
