Decadant Carrot Soup
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups grated carrots | ||
1/2 cup milk | ||
1/2 cup heavy cream | ||
1 cup chicken broth | ||
1/2 onion, chopped | ||
dash of nutmeg | ||
dash of cinnamon | ||
1 tbs brown sugar or honey | ||
heavy cream for garnish | ||
rosemary sprigs for garnish |
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend for 20 seconds, or until soup is totally smooth.
- If serving cold, chill covered for several hours.
- If serving hot pour mixture into sauce pan and heat well.
- Garnish with heavy cream and a sprig of rosemary.
