Beer Butter Basting Sauce


  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups of your favorite beer
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp liquid smoke

This is super simple sauce that can be used for basting meats over hot coals. Use to baste during the last minutes of cooking.


  • Melt the butter in the microwave.
  • Add the beer and brown sugar and blend, then add the liquid smoke.
  • Grill meats or seafood over hot coals and baste with sauce.
