Brown Sugar Steak Rub
|1/2 cup brown sugar|
|grated lemon peel from 1 lemon|
|1 tbs garlic powder|
|1 tbs oregano|
|3 tsp ground bay leaves|
|3 tsp kosher salt|
|3 tsp black pepper|
- Add all ingredients to a large bowl and mix well.
- Coat both sides of the steaks with the rub, refrigerate covered for 1 hour.
- Cook the steaks to desired doneness over hot charcoal or in a hot frying pan.
- Recipe may be multiplied.
