Caramelized Onions
Ingredients
3 lbs onions | ||
1 stick unsalted butter | ||
1 tbs brown sugar |
- Separate onions into rings.
- Add onions to a large saute pan along with the butter and brown sugar.
- Cook using low heat for about 1 hour or until onions are browned.
- The browned onions can be used as a base for French onion soup.
