Creamed Chipped Beef


  • 2 (3 oz) pkgs of sliced dried beef
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • kosher salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • In a medium saucepan, melt butter then stir in the flour and stir constantly for about 1 minute.
  • Slowly add the milk stirring after each addition.
  • Cook over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly.
  • Cut beef into shreds and add the the cream sauce and heat through.
  • Serve over toast points or mashed potatoes.
