Frying Dredge

Ingredients

  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tbs onion powder
  • 1 tbs granulated garlic
  • 1/2 tbs cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tbs adobo
  • 1 tbs paprika
  • 1 tbs thyme leaves
  • 1/2 tbs kosher salt
  • 1/2 tbs black pepper

This is a wonderful dredge that works well for frying, chicken or seafood.

  • Add all ingredients to a large bowl and mix well to combine.
  • Dredge desired meat or seafood in dredge to cover completely.
  • Knock off excess and fry as directed.
