Mayonnaise Pound Cake

Ingredients
2 cups sifted flour | ||
1 3/4 cups sugar | ||
1/2 cup milk | ||
4 eggs, beaten | ||
1 tsp pure vanilla extract | ||
1 tsp kosher salt | ||
1/4 cup mayonnaise | ||
2 tsp baking powder |
The mayonnaise will not change the flavor of the cake. It turns out smooth and delightfully creamy.
- Add all ingredients to a bowl of an electric mixer and mix until well combined and smooth.
- Pour in a loaf pan and place in a cold oven.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
I made this and converted it into a cake sheet pan. Cooked well. Just cut cooking time by 10 mins in my opinion. Mine was a little crispy. I added cinnamon strusel on top it was amazing
