Sweet and Sour Slaw
Ingredients
2 lbs cabbage, grated | ||
1 medium onion, chopped | ||
1 green pepper chopped | ||
1 cup sugar | ||
3/4 cup oil | ||
3/4 cup vinegar | ||
2 tsp kosher salt | ||
2 tsp celery seed | ||
1 tsp dry mustard |
- Combine cabbage, onion and green pepper.
- Pour sugar over vegetables.
- In a sauce pan, combine oil, vinegar, salt, celery seed and mustard.
- Heat to boiling, then pour over slaw and stir.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight,
