Sweet and Sour Slaw

Ingredients

2 lbs cabbage, grated
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green pepper chopped
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup oil
3/4 cup vinegar
2 tsp kosher salt
2 tsp celery seed
1 tsp dry mustard

 

  • Combine cabbage, onion and green pepper.
  • Pour sugar over vegetables.
  • In a sauce pan, combine oil, vinegar, salt, celery seed and mustard.
  • Heat to boiling, then pour over slaw and stir.
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight,
