Spiced Pecans
Ingredients
1 tbs water | ||
1 egg white, lightly beaten | ||
3 cups pecan halves | ||
1/2 cup sugar | ||
1 tsp kosher salt | ||
1/2 tsp ground cloves | ||
1/2 tsp ground cloves | ||
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg |
- Beat the water and egg white in a bowl.
- Stir in the pecans and coat well.
- Mix the sugar, salt, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg in a small bowl.
- Sprinkle over the pecans and mix well.
- Spread the pecans evenly on a lightly greased baking sheet.
- Bake in a preheated 300 degree oven for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Cool and serve.
