Old Bay Fried Catfish
Ingredients
2 lbs catfish fillets | ||
1 cup cornmeal | ||
3 tbs butter | ||
canola oil | ||
2 tbs Old Bay Seasoning | ||
2 tsp paprika | ||
1 tbs fresh parsley, chopped | ||
1 tsp garlic salt |
Directions:
- Add the Old Bay, paprika, parsley and garlic salt to the cornmeal and mix well.
- Roll the catfish in the mixture, shaking off excess.
- In a large frying pan, melt the butter along with a little canola oil.
- Add the catfish to the pan and using medium heat fry until golden brown. 8-10 minutes per side.
