English Cucumber Quick Pickles
|1 English Cucumber|
|1/2 cup water|
|3 cloves garlic, peeled and smashed|
|2 tsp dill seed|
|1 tbs chopped fresh dill|
|1 tsp red pepper flakes|
|2-3 tsp kosher salt|
|1 cup apple cider vinegar|
- Add all ingredients to a quart jar with a tight fitting lid.
- Shake to dissolve salt and spices.
- Slice cucumber into thin slices, then place in the jar with the pickling liquid.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to 3 days before serving.
