Whipped Cream Pound Cake
Ingredients
1 cup butter | ||
3 cups sugar | ||
3 cups flour | ||
6 eggs | ||
1 cup heavy cream | ||
2 tsp pure vanilla extract |
Light and sweet with a delicate crust.
Directions:
- Cream sugar and butter.
- Alternatively add the flour and eggs, 2 at a time.
- Whip cream until soft peaks form.
- Add vanilla or orange liqueur and fold into batter.
- pour into greased and floured bundt pan.
- Bake in a preheated 325 degree oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven and cool before serving.
