Enchilada Sauce
Ingredients
2/3 cup canola oil | ||
2 tbs kosher salt | ||
1 tsp black pepper | ||
1 tbs cumin | ||
3/4 cup flour | ||
2 and 1/2 cups water | ||
1 tbs garlic powder | ||
1/3 cup hot chili powder |
- In a sauce pan heat oil using medium heat.
- Add the flour and stir constantly for about 3 minutes or until flour is well combined.
- Add the tomato paste and stir to combine.
- Add liquids and seasonings and simmer for 30 minutes.
