Craisin and Chicken Green Salad


  • 1 head red leaf lettuce
  • 1 head green leaf lettuce
  • 1 head of iceberg lettuce
  • 1 head of iceberg lettuce
  • 1 cup craisins
  • 1 lb of bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
  • 1 package of sliced almonds
  • 6 chicken breasts, halved, cooked and diced
  • 1/2 cup sweet onions, chopped
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 cup canola oil
This is a flavorful salad that serves a crowd.
  • Core and wash all lettuce well, break into bite sized pieces and  add to a large salad bowl.
  • Toss in cheese, craisins, bacon, almonds and chicken.
  • In a blender, combine.  onions,sugar,mustard, red wine vinegar and while blending, slowly drizzle in canola oil until well mixed.
  • Toss salad and dressing together and serve.
  • Recipe may be halved or quartered.
