Cinnamon Crumble


  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbs brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 tbs unsalted butter, chilled and cut into 1/2 inch cubes.
This is a wonderful topping that is best used with apple or peach pie.

  • Blend first 5 ingredients in a food processor.
  • Add chilled butter cubes, pulsing the food processor, until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  • Sprinkle over pies as a topping instead of a pie crust.
