Cinnamon Crumble
Ingredients
1/2 cup flour | ||
1/4 cup sugar | ||
2 tbs brown sugar, packed | ||
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon | ||
1 pinch salt | ||
3 tbs unsalted butter, chilled and cut into 1/2 inch cubes. |
This is a wonderful topping that is best used with apple or peach pie.
- Blend first 5 ingredients in a food processor.
- Add chilled butter cubes, pulsing the food processor, until the mixture resembles wet sand.
- Sprinkle over pies as a topping instead of a pie crust.
