Asian Beef Lettuce Wraps


  • 1 and 1/2 lbs of lean ground beef (95%)
  • 1/2 half cup Hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbs canola oil
  • Add canola oil to a nonstick pan and using medium high heat, brown the ground beef.
  • Pour off drippings, then stir in hoisin and peanut sauce. Heat through.
  • Allow to cool slightly.
  • Just before serving, add cucumber, carrots and torn mint, toss gently.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve the beef mixture in lettuce leaves and garnish with fresh mint.
