Asian Beef Lettuce Wraps
- 1 and 1/2 lbs of lean ground beef (95%)
- 1/2 half cup Hoisin sauce
- 1 tbs canola oil
- Add canola oil to a nonstick pan and using medium high heat, brown the ground beef.
- Pour off drippings, then stir in hoisin and peanut sauce. Heat through.
- Allow to cool slightly.
- Just before serving, add cucumber, carrots and torn mint, toss gently.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the beef mixture in lettuce leaves and garnish with fresh mint.
