Barbecued Korean Style Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup corn oil
  • 1/4cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Karo dark corn syrup
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 broiler chicken cut into pieces
  • In a shallow baking dish stir together the first eight ingredients.
  • Add the chicken, turning to coat.
  • Cover and refrigerate for three hours, turning once.
  • Grill of hot charcoal, turning and basting frequently, about 50 minutes.
