Cabbage Spinach and Jicama Salad
Ingredients
1 head Napa cabbage | ||
1 bag baby spinach, washed | ||
1 medium Jicama, peeled and diced | ||
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced | ||
brown sugar | ||
butter | ||
1 cup almonds, slivered | ||
1 cup raisins | ||
poppy seed dressing |
Directions:
- Add finely chopped cabbage to spinach.
- Toss in jimica and red pepper strips.
- Brown slivered almonds in brown sugar and butter.
- Add to salad, along with raisins.
- Toss well.
- Just before serving , toss with poppy seed dressing.
