Cabbage Spinach and Jicama Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 head Napa cabbage
  • 1 bag baby spinach, washed
  • 1 medium Jicama, peeled and diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • brown sugar
  • butter
  • 1 cup almonds, slivered
  • 1 cup raisins
  • poppy seed dressing

Directions:

  • Add finely chopped cabbage to spinach.
  • Toss in jimica and red pepper strips.
  • Brown slivered almonds in brown sugar and butter.
  • Add to salad, along with raisins.
  • Toss well.
  • Just before serving , toss with poppy seed dressing.
