Chesapeake Bay Deviled Crabs
Ingredients
8 cleaned crab shells | ||
1 lb lump crab meat | ||
2 tbs fresh parsley, chopped | ||
2 tbs chopped onion | ||
2 tbs dry mustard | ||
1 tbs Worcestershire sauce | ||
1 tbs water | ||
1 egg | ||
1 cup mayonnaise | ||
1/4 cup sherry | ||
dash Tabasco sauce | ||
buttered bread crumbs (bread crumbs mixed with melted butter) |
- Grease the insides of the crab shells.
- Mix the crab meat, parsley, onion, mustard Worcestershire sauce, water, egg, mayonnaise, sherry and Tabasco sauce and place in the shells.
- Top with the bread crumbs and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven until light golden brown.
