Japanese Teriyaki Sake Marinade

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sake
  • 2 small pieces fresh ginger, sliced
  • 2 scallions, chopped
  • 1 tbs sugar
  • 1 tbs brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed

This is a great Asian marinade for chicken, beef or pork.

 

  • Mix together all ingredients until well combined.
  • Add the meat of your choice to a glass baking dish, cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours, then grill over hot charcoal.
  • Recipe may be doubled.
