Asian Chicken Marinade
Ingredients
1/3 cup water | ||
1/3 cup soy sauce | ||
1/3 cup sherry | ||
1/4 cup dark brown sugar | ||
1 tsp powdered ginger | ||
1 tbs onion powder | ||
1tbs garlic powder |
This is a very special marinade that burst’s with savory flavor. We like to use it prior to cooking chicken over charcoal.
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients in sauce pan.
- Warm gently to dissolve the sugar.
- Let mixture cool.
- Place chicken parts in the marinade and keep refrigerated for 8 hours.
- Cook chicken over hot coal, turning several times until cooked through.
