Guyana Crab Cakes
Ingredients
1 lb of crab meat, jumbo lump, snow or king crab | ||
4 tbs honey | ||
1 cup mayonnaise | ||
1 medium onion, minced | ||
1 large red pepper, minced | ||
4 tbs jerk spice | ||
1 and 1/2 cups bread crumbs | ||
4 tbs butter |
- Gently combine all ingredients, except for the butter.
- Form 12 to 15 crab cakes
- Fry crab in butter at medium heat until golden brown on each side.
