Cuban Dulce De Leche
|1 gallon of milk|
|3 cups sugar|
|3 tbs vinegar|
This a homemade version of Dulce De Leche which is commonly used in Cuba and many other countries in Latin America.
- In a large stockpot add the sugar to the milk and bring to a boil.
- Add the vinegar and cook until water disappears and only the solids are left and slightly caramelized. About 40 minutes.
