Barbecued Korean Style Chicken
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup corn oil
- 1/4cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Karo dark corn syrup
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 broiler chicken cut into pieces
- In a shallow baking dish stir together the first eight ingredients.
- Add the chicken, turning to coat.
- Cover and refrigerate for three hours, turning once.
- Grill of hot charcoal, turning and basting frequently, about 50 minutes.
