Enchilada Sauce
Ingredients
2/3 cup corn oil | ||
2 cups tomato sauce | ||
2 tbs kosher salt | ||
2 tsp black pepper | ||
1 tbs cumin | ||
3/4 cup flour | ||
2 and quarts of water | ||
2 tbs garlic powder | ||
1 tbs sugar | ||
1/3 cup chili powder |
- Heat oil and blend in the flour and stir for several minutes until the flour is well incorporated.
- Stir and cook for about 2 minutes.
- Add in all other ingredients and mix well.
- Simmer for about 30 minutes then taste for seasoning.
