Strawberry Ice Tea


  • 2 cups fresh strawberries
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 5 cups unsweetened bread tea, chilled
  • 1/2 cup fine sugar
  • additional strawberries for garnish
  • Place strawberries and lemon juice in blender, cover and puree.
  • Pour puree int a 2-quart pitcher and add the tea and sugar.
  • Stir until sugar is dissolved.
  • Chill and float slices of berries and lemon in the pitcher.
  • Pour into glasses and garnish with extra berries.
  • You may add more sugar if necessary.
