Bourbon Sauce


  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tsp tarragon
  • kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper to taste
  • 4 tbs good bourbon
This sauce goes especially well with beef.
  • Add butter to a sauce pan and using medium heat melt
  • Add the cream and whisk until smooth.
  • Add the tarragon and salt and pepper and mix well.
  • Add the bourbon and lower heat to a simmer. Cook for 2 minutes, whisking constantly.
  • Serve over meat.
  • Recipe may be doubled.
