- 1 stick of butter
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tsp tarragon
- kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper to taste
- 4 tbs good bourbon
This sauce goes especially well with beef.
- Add butter to a sauce pan and using medium heat melt
- Add the cream and whisk until smooth.
- Add the tarragon and salt and pepper and mix well.
- Add the bourbon and lower heat to a simmer. Cook for 2 minutes, whisking constantly.
- Serve over meat.
- Recipe may be doubled.
