Bananas Foster


  • 2 tbs unsalted butter
  • 3 ripe bananas, quartered
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbs banana liqueur
  • 2 tbs brandy
  • 4 scoops each vanilla and chocolate ice cream
  • In a medium saute pan, melt the butter and saute the bananas until they’re soft. Do not overcook as they will become mushy.
  • Sprinkle the cinnamon and brown sugar over the bananas and turn to coat with the sugar mixture.
  • Add the liqueur and brandy, let it flame to burn the alcohol off.
  • Take the ice cream scoops from the freezer and place a scoop of each flavor in 4 dishes, top with bananas and some of the sauce and serve right away.
