Grilled Asian Monkfish

Ingredients

  • 4 Monkfish steaks (8oz each)
  • 3 and 1/2 tbs fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 tbs dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbs dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbs dark soy sauce
  • 3 tbs red wine
  • 1 tbs sesame oil
  • 1 tbs sesame oil
  • 1 tbs sesame oil
  • Place fish steaks in a glass casserole or baking dish in a single layer.
  • Put the rest of the ingredients in a blender of food process and process until the mixture is smooth.
  • Spread the mixture over the fish and refrigerate covered overnight.
  • Grill the fish over hot coals, or broil until done. About 5 minutes on each side. (depending on thickness)
  • Baste with marinade while cooking.
