Oysters with Prosciutto and Balsamic Vinegar


  • 24 shucked oysters
  • 3 tbs balsamic vinegar
  • 6 slices of prosciutto, chopped
  • fresh cracked black pepper
  • Shuck the oysters and place them in the half shell on a baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle each oyster with a little balsamic vinegar, then with a little black pepper.
  • Place the chopped prosciutto evenly over the oysters.
  • Place the baking sheet under a hot broiler for 1-2 minutes until the prosciutto starts to crisp.
