Martinique Sauce Piquant
|1/2 cup hot water|
|1 cup shallots, minced|
|1/4 cup fresh chives, chopped|
|2 cloves garlic, minced|
|4 hot green peppers, seeded and chopped|
|3 tbs lime juice|
|kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper|
- Pour the hot water over the shallots, chives, garlic and hot pepper, mix well.
- Stir in the lime juice and season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Allow to stand for 1 hour before serving.
