Charcoal Grilled Venison wrapped in Bacon
- 4 venison tenderloins, about 1/2 lb each
- 4 thick slices of bacon
- kosher salt and black pepper
- Season the venison tenderloins with salt and pepper on all sides.
- Wrap each tenderloin with 1 slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- Grill the filets over hot charcoal, turning once, about 3 minutes per side or until the bacon begins to crisp.
- Remove from grill and let rest for several minutes before serving.
