Charcoal Grilled Venison wrapped in Bacon


  • 4 venison tenderloins, about 1/2 lb each
  • 4 thick slices of bacon
  • kosher salt and black pepper
  • Season the venison tenderloins with salt and pepper on all sides.
  • Wrap each tenderloin with 1 slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  • Grill the filets over hot charcoal, turning once, about  3 minutes per side or until the bacon begins to crisp.
  • Remove from grill and let rest for several minutes before serving.
