Marinated Mozzarella Balls

  • 1 lb fresh mozzarella balls
  • 1-1/12 cups extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbs Italian seasonion
  • 1 tbs flat leaf parsley, chopped
  • Kosher salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup black olives, pitted
  • Add mozzarella balls and herbs and spices to a quart bell jar.
  • Cover with olive oil and shake well to mix.
  • Let marinate overnight, shaking and mixing occasionally.
  • Serve with sliced tomatoes and a green salad.
