Spiced Rubbed Wild Salmon
Ingredients
1 tsp ground cloves | ||
1/4 tsp ground allspice | ||
1 tsp cayenne pepper | ||
2 tbs smoked paprika | ||
1/2 tsp chili powder | ||
1 tsp black pepper | ||
1 tsp garlic powder | ||
2 tsp onion powder | ||
2 tsp kosher salt | ||
2 tbs dark brown sugar | ||
3 tbs sugar | ||
6 wild salmon fillets or steaks |
- Combine all ingredients, except the salmon in a small bowl.
- Gently rub and press the mixture into each fillet, cover both sides and let stand for 5 minutes.
- Lightly oil the grill and grill the fish over medium coals for 5 minutes.
- Turn and grill for 5-8 minutes or until cooked to your preference.
